The slang usage of »flow« in Hip-Hop changed thru the years. It’s meaning is constantly evolving right through generations but some people today still use the old terms to express certain things:

(๑´ڡ`๑三๑´ڡ`๑) 89 - 96. To rap fast in a straight line and to roll your tongue to make it sound even faster. Back in the early 90's this technique was the newest thing to do and hardly heard in a Rap song.

ऀืົཽ≀ ͔ ͕̮ ऀืົཽ✧॰ 96 - 05. To »rap« at this time it was simplified and bastardized to its simplest meaning.

✷ 05 - now. To rap with a unique melodic - Rap Style.

➸ A rapper's ability to rhyme to phat beats in a skillful manner. A rappers ability to vocalize a rhythmic yet complex string rhymes that fit together in a logical and seamless manner.

⸂⸂( ृ[▒͠]꒱⸒⸒⌕ flow: 1. a freestyle rap, done on the spot. 2. to be able to rap very skillfully.

↻ flow: to freestyle (or usually to attempt to do so) with varying degrees of success (usually shitty) to a beat (by chomped up cazzos who think they shit)

☆*゚ ゜゚*(´∀`)*゚ ゜゚*☆* flow: Long, curly or wavy hair. Mostly a hockey term. Hair that would flow out the back of someone's helmet and curl up around the back of the helmet. Someone can have a flow or be flowing.

⇴ flow: The style and essence of a True Lax(lacrosse) Bro. Is usually referred to as long, wavy or curly hair, which can give someone flow, however, flow can also be attained by the equipment and uniform of a player (calf socks, knee length shorts). More importantly flow comes from the style of a player's game; if a player always makes sloppy plays or is a ball hog they are lacking flow, but if a player can make plays and pick corners he has flow.

⥭ flow: Similar to fly / flow means when someone thinks a little too much of himself/herself. It can be demonstrated by a sudden feel of »I can beat that 6"7 guy when I'm 5”1’. Usually, people who flow use exaggerated examples and believe them to be true.

⇝ flow: Sitting back letting the chips fall where they may. Having hopes but not expectations. Being content with the situation at hand and not concerned with the future. Letting nature take its course and fate lead the way.

⤻ Flow: Term started in the US, »flow« describes the direction of air flow in ones dorm room. The air flow direction can be used to determine whether or not it is straight to smoke some dope in ones room. If in fact the air is coming in from the window and out through the door cracks, depending on how many times you have been written up, smoking would be frowned upon. If the flow is in through the door and out the window, one should not hesitate to burn it down.

⥈ person with potential to be girlfriend/boyfriend but, never makes it to that status. You still do things an actual couple do but it ain't 'official.'

⥇ flow defines something that is very cool or something that is very uncool. Flow is a word that signifies how you are feeling, it could mean happy, joyfull, excited, angry and much more. Flow is way of life, it can mean any emotion or feeling.

In this state of mind, it seems like the music is telling your body what to do, and you just go with it. Physically, one feels as though they can keep on dancing, and their movements are natural and without thought. These two states combine as one to describe the state of flowing. Flowing can be reached sober or under the influence of a substance, and in this state NOBODY IS A BAD DANCER, regardless of skill level as the main point of flowing is feeling the music and enjoying one's self.

Music flow. spit bars without pause or chorus which can involve freestyle. KK flow (wtf?) is better than Eminem because his flow lasts longer. Or he can spit quicker than a computer can make a division. People flow: hey come on, let's go to that club. You been there before? No - but just follow my flow. Dancefloor flow: I had a good time last nite - that gal could follow my flow easily.

⇔ flow: game, skills, macking ability, the ability to pick up ladies.

☜ flow flowing: this is the name my friends gave to jacking shit... then it turned into a language so we could talk about bad shit in front of the cops and they had no fucking clue.
